PennDesign in Beijing - Conversation and Reception

Please join PennDesign Dean and Paley Professor Dean Frederick Steiner (MRP'77, MA'86, PhD'86) and PennDesign faculty, alumni and friends for a lively discussion among leaders in the field regarding the Future of Design in China - Opportunities and Challenges.

 

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from PennDesign leaders on how the School makes an impact in architecture, landscape architecture, city and regional planning, historic preservation, fine arts and energy policy.

 

Join fellow PennDesign Alumni to spend one hour in conversation among an intimate group of fellow alums to discuss key initiatives related to the design field in China. Discussion facilitated by Richard Weller, the Martin and Margie Meyerson Professor of Urbanism and Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning.

•    Conversation led by recent PennDesign alums regarding the future of design in China.

•    Other PennDesign Faculty members in attendance will include: Winka Dubbeldam, Miller Professor and Chair of Architecture; Marilyn Jordan Taylor, Professor of Architecture and Urban Design, Former Dean; Christopher Marcinkoski, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture Ali Rahim, Professor of Architecture, Director of the AAD Program; Richard Weller, the Martin and Margie Meyerson Professor of Urbanism and Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning.
