PennDesign’s Fall 2018 Lecture Series brings more than 30 of the world’s leading architects, landscape architects, planners, artists, and preservationists to Philadelphia.
The series opens on Thursday, August 30, with a panel discussion organized by The Ian L. McHarg Center for Urbanism and Ecology on “Designing the Political Landscape.” The schedule includes explorations of architecture as a catalyst, the politics of modern memorials, and the impact of LGBTQ history on historic preservation.
Unless noted otherwise, lectures take place at Meyerson Hall, 210 South 34th Street, Philadelphia, and admission is free and open to the public. Information is subject to change; please visit the School’s online calendar of events or sign up for PennDesign’s e-newsletter to confirm details.
