Weitzman Around the World: Austin

Connect with your fellow Weitzman alumni during a Texan style happy hour with Dean and Paley Professor Fritz Steiner.   

Before returning to Penn in 2016, Fritz served as the Dean of the School of Architecture and Henry M. Rockwell Chair in Architecture at The University of Texas in Austin for 15 years, making his upcoming visit even more special. 

The gathering is a wonderful opportunity to engage with the Weitzman community living in Austin over food, drinks, and great company.

About Sour Duck Market

The food and drink at Sour Duck Market is inspired by local farmers and purveyors. Meats are smoked daily in a 1,000-gallon pit smoker, the flour for baked goods is milled locally and cocktails are made with the freshest juice and product. Sour Duck Market believes in showing true craftsmanship in cooking by serving good, local food, made the way nature intended—from scratch.
