2300 Market Brunch and Tour | Weitzman School of Design Alumni

In conjunction with the University of Pennsylvania’s Alumni Weekend, May 16–19, reconnect, reflect, and celebrate with fellow alumni during Weitzman’s Alumni Weekend 2025!

Join Dean Fritz Steiner and members of the Penn Weitzman Alumni Association for a special brunch at Fitler Club with fellow alumni.

Enjoy brunch while learning about 2300 Market, an exciting new development by Breakthrough Properties. The morning will feature presentations from the teams behind the project, including Breakthrough Properties, KieranTimberlake, OJB Landscape Architecture, and RWDI Consulting Engineers and Scientists.

Following the brunch, guests will take part in an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of 2300 Market. Tours and speaker sessions will be led by members of the KieranTimberlake team, including Jon D. McCandlish (MArch’06), Principal; Ryan Wall (MArch’13), Associate; and Karen Vankovich (MArch’21), Architectural Staff alongside Joe Traynor, Vice President, Development, Breakthrough Properties; Allison Harvey (MLA’08), Principal, OJB Landscape Architecture; Jillian Burgess (MS’15), Technical Director and Associate Principal, RWDI; and Joel Darras, President, Ascent Restoration.

Participants will learn about the design process for the building, including the civic engagement process and key visual and technical considerations undertaken for integrating the historic and new facades.

Please note: The event will begin at the Fitler Club in The Gallery and conclude at 2300 Market Street. Registration is required to attend as there is a capacity limit at the venue.
