Headshot of Taylor Knoche

As a personal sentiment, this year I have found that leading with kindness and empathy is of the utmost importance. Leading in this way means prioritizing compassion, understanding, and respect in every interaction. It involves actively listening to others, considering their perspectives, and recognizing their emotions and experiences without judgment. This approach fosters trust, strengthens relationships, and creates a supportive environment where people feel valued and heard. By choosing empathy over authority and kindness over criticism, you as future leaders can inspire cooperation, encourage open communication, and build resilient, inclusive communities. PWAA is your community, Weitzman is your home, UPenn is your past, present and future.
